Table Top Brook

First the people that turned up. Five scouts turned up, they were (in time order) Cameron, Me (Adam), Alistair, Andrew and, at 10:15, 45 minutes after we started was Kevin. At exactly 9:30 we had a safety briefing which was slightly boring and we were divided into groups.

I was one of the rakers who had to rake leaves and things from the side after the cutters had cut down the undergrowth. Which was fun. Sort of.
We then all split up to work hard…ish. I was sort of flitting around between groups so I knew what everyone was doing. Me, Alistair, Kevin and Greg went to clear up the playground and found 7 or 8 empty boxes of beer and about 7 non-smashed bottles and about 3 smashed ones. After about 2 hours we had a break of coffee, tea, chocolate and bacon sandwiches (which stempy missed!) After a 10 -20 minute break we got back to work. I missed some of the last stuff because I was jumping up and down in a skip. But I know that they were fishing some things out of the river and putting it in big white bags.
