Join Us!

It's always great to welcome new people into our group, whether it's young people, or adults - whether you've done Scouting before or not. All sections are open to girls and boys. We have all sections up to Scout leaving age (14 yrs); Explorer Scouts, from 14 years upwards is done at a district level, but we have a page here. As a parent (or any community-minded adult), we can use your help directly with the Scouting - or with fund raising, or committee work, or just helping us paint the hut once in a while. We're very flexible.

These are the core ages. There is 6 months flexibility either side. You can join a little early, or leave a little late to stick around with friends from school. So, for example, girls who have left Brownies aged 10 who would rather join Scouts than Guides don't have to wait until 10½

Unfortunately we do sometimes have waiting lists, particularly for Cubs, so we have an admissions policy which you might want to read.
