Archaeological Breakthrough At Histon Scout Hut

“Senior Patrol Leader”. Noone knows what it means. But sometimes, when a Patrol Leader feels all important and seems to have done everything that can be done with his patrol, we’ll promote him to this mysterious rank. And it’s up to him to work out what to do with his new position.
Some of you may remember a Scout called Cameron Dalziel. Well, after his promotion, he started an expedition into the Scout Cupboards in the back corner of the hut. We all thought he’d quit Scouts at Christmas, but no. Cam never left the Cupboard. It went back for miles, deep underground, containing the lovingly interred bones of long-dead Scouts of the past. But Cam got stuck! While he was inside, he grew another centimetre taller and couldn’t get back through the entrance. He spent the last two months without food or water, surviving only by sucking dew out of his scarf. But he emerges triumphant!
